October 28, 2008 - 12:40 PM Hello From Vagabond Granny Hello to my followers, I know it has been a long time since I last blogged in. Bet you all thought I had fallen in the cracks somewhere. Well, first of all, I am too big to fall in most cracks but must just say I have been busy and apologize for the time gone by. It feels like I got back only yesterday and yet has been 6 weeks. Where has the time gone? I know much of it has been spent training this new pup and learning to keep a cleaner house. This dog is very sweet and loveable, but has alot of puppy in her yet. She is about a year old the vet says but still is very much a puppy. I feel at times like I am childproofing a house for a toddler. She is playing right now, throwing toys up in the air and chasing things. Oh to be young like that. Seems to be taking me longer to get my energy back than I thought it would but guess that can be attributed to the aging process. The old bones just dont have the resiliency they used to, not to mention the energy level. I finally managed to get my receipts etc. into Beth and am working on my recollections. I kept a journal so am going through that day by day so anyone who wants can read over my travels and experiences. I hope this will be interesting for you. My notes are not as complete as I would like them to be.(Maybe that is why my college career did not succeed as well). It is fun to go back and relive as I go over these entries and I do hope you will enjoy my travels as well. I am not doing much travel for now. I feel I did my share for the year but do get around. Once I have caught up with Dr. appointments, I can devote more time to my recollections. I am glad to be home as I am sure my son missed his laundry lady as well. I am enjoying being home and want to thank you all for your support and prayers on my mission. My recollections are following in short order. Please be patient for just a little while longer. Love and hugs, Martha/Vagabond granny. | Sioux's StoryI have always been fastidious about getting an annual mammogram. Both of my grandmothers had breast cancer - one for the first time around 1949, when technology is not what it is today. Call or Click |
