This is letchworth gorge - it is magnificant!

These pics all are from letchworth gorge in western NY state.. the gorge empties into the Genesee River.  It is called the Grand Canyon of the east and is spectacular..  all of the stone bridges, walkways, and bldgs were constructed by the wpa and are as strong today as when they were built.  The park is over 300,000 acres so covers a lot of ground with gorgeous overlooks galore.
