While she was visiting Zionsville, she stayed with Nancy Walworth, a former classmate at Mazzei’s main goal is to spread awareness of the UBCF and teach the importance of early detection, which Mazzei attributes to her survival. “If only one person is saved by (early detection), it’s an opportunity most people don’t have in their lives,” Mazzei said.
