Jennifer Spina

Hi, my name is  Jennifer Spina. I am currently 35 years of age, married to a wonderful man and we have a beautiful family together.    I have lived here on Long Island my entire life and I love it.   It is a wonderful place to raise a family, being so close to New York City.   New York City offers so many cultural and educational experiences and allows us to expose our children to these many different experiences easily.

I began working for The United Breast Cancer Foundation February 2009.   My position with UBCF is the Individual Grant Program Manager.   This position allows me to work closely with our client’s and ease some of the financial burdens they may have due to their illness.

Working with UBCF has allowed me to see how fortunate I truly am.  I enjoy working with such generous people and I have had the privilege to encounter many grateful clients.

I look forward to many years of service with UBCF.

Devin Muller

My name is Devin Muller and I’m a 28 year old mother of a precocious 2 year old daughter. Both my husband and I are fortunate to work in fields that allow us to help people everyday. We often travel in the winter to ski & snowboard a favorite past time of ours but mostly look forward to the summers here on long island where we enjoy boating as much as we can on the best kind of boat…someone else’s!

A friend of mine started working for the United Breast Cancer Foundation earlier in 2009 and when she spoke about the job I instantly became interested and begged her to set up a meeting for me to meet the people who run this amazing organization.

Being the daughter of a breast cancer survivor I have experienced first hand the effects this disease has not only on the patient but on family and friends as well. My mother was a single mom of two teenagers when she was diagnosed. Thanks to wonderful organizations and the people who work in them my mother was able to continue to provide all that we needed through those difficult years. I feel privileged to work with an organization that focuses on providing care to people in need now! I am fortunate to go home each day and feel that I’m contributing to the overall wellness of people and feel blessed that we live in a society where such organizations exist.
