Tameka's Story

One day I was doing a fundraiser to help pay some of my bills when I came across this woman who told me about United Breast Cancer Foundation.  She told me she had breast cancer and you (UBCF) all helped her.  I got your number from on-line, called you up and days later I was sent some information about your program (Individual Grant Program).

I filled out some paperwork and within weeks received a letter stating you all could help me for seven months with my bills.  I agreed that my biggest bill that I was having trouble with was my mortgage.  So you agreed to pay seven hundred dollars per month for seven months. 

I was so thankful that I had found someone to help me.  I was thankful and grateful for people like you!
