Gloria's Story

I would like to thank the UBCF for their gracious reimbursement of my breast
thermography screening fees and for Devin’s personal assistance in the whole
process.

I am a firm believer that thermography is better at detecting early breast
cancer and for that reason, opt for this procedure instead of mammography. My
health insurance carrier does not cover this procedure and due to the economy,
my job hours were reduced and I did not have the funds to pay out of pocket.
My thermographer advised me about the UBCF assistance program and for that, I
am truly grateful. Having recently been diagnosed with skin cancer, and having
a history of different types of cancer in my family, it’s very important to stay
up on testings. I’m very grateful that the UBCF was there in my time of need,
as it has been for countless others.
