JOSEPH’S HOSPITAL The United Breast Cancer Foundation has recently named St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center a 2008 UBCF Grant recipient. St. Joseph’s Hospital is located at 301 Prospect Avenue, Syracuse, NY 13203. UBCF Grant funds will ensure that St. Joseph’s may continue to provide superior services to women and men managing breast cancer. Our grant will fund reconstructive breast surgery to mastectomy patients, provide diagnostic MRI services, pain-management medication, prosthetic devices, educational materials and transportation assistance to and from the hospital. St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center has a long history of caring for the underserved and uninsured in the Central New York community. Designated a Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, St. Joseph’s is nationally known for providing high quality, compassionate care.
