 A Special Organization

Special, exceptional and different, these are just a few words that describe the United Breast Cancer Foundation.  You ask why?  The United Breast Cancer foundation has many unique qualities that many breast cancer organizations do not.  UBCF is one of the only organizations that assist woman financially, without expecting a penny in return.    As a non for profit organization we solely work on donations from many generous people which allows UBCF to offer so many different services to women and their families who are in serious need. 

Working with UBCF for the last 10 months has allowed me to experience firsthand what each program can assist each woman individually.  Managing the Individual Grant, College Scholarship and Free Breast Screening Programs has allowed me to assist many woman and their families with high cost medical bills, reimbursement for food, paying portions of college tuitions for children of those who are battling breast cancer and of course assisting with the high costs of Breast Reconstruction.   No other organization that I am aware of offers so many financial assistance options while recovering from an illness.  Taking this financial burden away helps our clients concentrate on getting well, rather than worrying whether or not they can pay the mortgage this month.   UBCF’s primary goal is to try an alleviate stress from everyday household bills and allow our clients to recover without the stress.  Alleviating this stress may allow for a speedy recovery and quicker return to work and everyday living.   

The United Breast Cancer Foundation offers many unique programs.  Some of these programs are listed below.  Please review them and see how UBCF may be able to assist you or someone in your family that may be battling Breast Cancer.

Grant Opportunities:

Individual Grant Program:  assists woman who may need assistance with financial needs, such as medical invoices, mortgage/rent payments, prescription medications, supplements etc.

Free Breast Reconstruction Program: assists with medical invoices associated with breast reconstruction.

Audrey B. Mastroianni College Scholarship Program: assists families who have been affected by breast cancer and allows UBCF to assist with a portion of college tuition.
