UBCF Needs Your Support - TODAY!

Funding for the Individual Grant Program-UBCF

As many of you know, I manage the Individual Grant Program here at United Breast Cancer Foundation.  I also manage several other programs within the foundation.  Currently the largest and most popular program is Individual Grant.  In the past year this program has assisted approximately a 100 women and their families for as long as 6 months.  We have assisted these women and their families with medical expenses, co-pays, mortgage and rent payments as well as grocery and prescription reimbursements.  These women and their families count on UBCF to help financially every month for several months.  Unfortunately UBCF is currently struggling financially to keep our doors open and struggling to assist these families that have been affected by breast cancer.   

As a non-for-profit we solely count on donations.  These are far and few between because of the state of the economy within the U.S.  I have done some research on how to help get funds in various ways to help keep UBCF’s doors open.  One very promising idea is called the Pepsi Refresh Project.  Pepsi Cola Company is giving away millions each month to fund refreshing ideas that change the world.   Each month Pepsi grants monies to different ideas from all over the country.  UBCF has entered an idea for next month, June, to help with some funding so we may continue to assist as many women and their families as we can for the next year plus!!!  Please help us win this wonderful grant so we may continue to serve the breast cancer community.
